Lisa's Lifelong Wishlist!

Evening all! It has been a few weeks since I was last on here so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope you lot all enjoyed the well deserved holidays. I sure as hell did :) . I enjoy my home comforts a little too much and I am still guilty of being spoiled rotten by my parents when I get home from University for a few weeks! Just being spoiled by the little things such as being handed scrumptious dinners and numerous cups of tea and coffee. I'm more than grateful though, obviously. I'm even more grateful due to the fact that I'm leaving for Aberdeen soon, meaning no more home comforts until Easter. Noooo!

I'm looking forward to getting back to Aberdeen, mainly just for seeing certain people and can't wait to celebrate my twenteenth birthday! (yes, “twenteenth”. It's a real word! I refuse to say twenty because it makes me sound like a... dare I say it... “grown up”.). It's the thought of exams approaching that's killing me inside! Seriously, I'd rather be thrown into the foggy Silent Hill and have Pyramid Head coming after me with that f**king scary ass 'Great Knife' of his.(that sounds like a euphemism but really, it's not. Ha). Okay, that sounds a bit extreme, but it's merely just to give you an idea of the general hatred I have of exams.

So, 2010. I'm glad to welcome the new year! 2009 wasn't a bad year really. There were some good things, some really good things and some bad things, but I survived it all! :D So anyway, now that I've blabbed a lot, I'll get to the main blog topic! The other night I was watching videos on YouTube and I came across a video (cannot remember the name unfortunately), but it was basically about a guy who made a list of everything he wants to do before he dies. It was quite a substantial list but it made me think about my life and all the things I'd like to do before I die.

Okay, here it goes. These are not really in any particular order and some may be far-fetched, but meh, I can dream!

  1. Visit at least 10 countries. (Sweden, America, Russia, Germany, Australia, Iceland, Hong Kong, Italy and Egypt) I've only been to France so a few trips would make me very happy!

  1. Learn how to speak Gaeilge (my native language) and French.

  2. Build my own house in the country and own a white horse and a black horse.

  3. Star in a movie where I am the protagonist (Living in dreamland I know)

  4. Perform a musical on the stage.

  5. Go to a third-world country and help build a school.

  6. Write my own book and have it published.

  7. Be an inspirational primary school teacher

  8. Become Head-teacher in a primary school.

  9. Send a message in a bottle.

  10. Sky-dive

  11. Do more watersports (water-skiing, scuba-diving)

  12. Get better at surfing

  13. Produce paintings and have them viewed and eventually bought at a gallery.

  14. Go on a helicopter ride.

  15. Train to be in the army for one week.

  16. Get married. Have kids. Happy family life etc.

  17. Have a star in the sky named after me.

  18. Meet my long-lost relatives in Sweden.

  19. Design and make my own clothes.

  20. Have someone special say “I love you” for me to say it back.

  21. Go camping in the middle of nowhere.

  22. Go to a drive-in movie theatre.

  23. Sleep in an igloo.

  24. Take a ride in a hot air balloon.

  25. Be in a photoshoot.

  26. Meet Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Charles Grodin and Robert DeNiro.

  27. Buy a black BMW 3 series

  28. Go ballroom dancing

  29. Write a perfect essay and have it put in a book (like my brother)

  30. Have a dramatic (not sad) moment in the rain.

  31. Design a computer game.

  32. Buy a summer house abroad

  33. Buy a cottage anywhere

  34. Go to a shooting range

  35. Go paintballing

  36. Wear a dress worth £1million

  37. Pet a tiger. Preferably own one.

  38. Go swimming with dolphins

  39. Sleep under the stars.

This is just a short list of things that would make me smile from ear to ear. Things will be added to it! I plan on reaching at least one hundred things. :)

Basically, the new year has made me think about the past and what I've done with my life. I want to live my life to the full and I intend on doing exactly that! :) I've been lucky with my life so far so why ruin it now? Live your life to the full people!

Love, Lisa

xx
